October 26, 2026 – Ternion announces the release of FLAMES version 22.5, the latest update to its commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) framework for developing custom constructive and virtual simulations for the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
Enhancements to Unreal Engine Option
FLAMES version 22.5 updates the Unreal Engine Option to support Unreal Engine version 5.8. The previous FLAMES version, version 22.4, is still compatible with Unreal Engine version 5.6.
Version 22.5 of the content in the FLAMES Store was also updated to be compatible with Unreal Engine 5.8.
Improvements to Starter Content
Version 22.5 includes improvements to the FLAMES Starter Content.
