October 18, 2023 – Huntsville, AL – Ternion Corporation demonstrated the new FLAMES Unreal Engine Option at AlaSim on October 18th at Holiday Inn Research Park in Huntsville, AL. Sponsored by The Alabama Modeling & Simulation Council (AMSC), the event featured speakers, white papers, and exhibitors highlighting the diverse fields of modeling and simulation from government, industry, and academia. The latest innovations, solutions, and products were showcased.
Ternion demonstrated a scenario built using its flagship product, FLAMES, and Unreal Engine. The FLAMES Unreal Engine Option was recently launched, integrating FLAMES, the world’s most capable simulation framework, with Unreal Engine, the world’s most open and advanced real-time 3D creation tool. The result is the ultimate framework for the creation of serious games and 3D, entity-level constructive and virtual simulations. Everyone who stopped by the booth was able to see it in action!
In addition, Ternion President and FLAMES Product Manager, Brad Spearing, spoke at the conference, giving attendees in-depth detail on developing simulations using FLAMES and Unreal Engine.
Huntsville is home to NASA and several others in the technology and defense industries, making Alabama a strategic player in the application of modeling and simulation that directly impacts our defense, cyber, and space fields. For more information about AMSC, visit https://www.almsc.org/.
