FLAMES Version 22.3 Release

Home / Product Releases / FLAMES Version 22.3 Release

January 30, 2025 – We are thrilled to announce the release of FLAMES version 22.3, the latest update to our commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) framework for developing custom constructive and virtual simulations for the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.

Enhancements to Unreal Engine Option

The only changes in version 22.3 were those necessary to make the FLAMES Unreal Engine option compatible with Unreal Engine version 5.5. The previous FLAMES version, version 22.2, is still compatible with Unreal Engine version 5.4.

Version 22.3 of the content in the FLAMES Store was also updated to be compatible with Unreal 5.5.

Enhancements to FLAMES Launcher

The Launcher will now display a warning when a Launcher Project is missing content that is required by other content already installed in the Project. The warning message includes the name of the missing content.
